Exhibition
Canoe Cultures celebrates resiliency by bringing forward the War Canoe as a vessel which carries gifts to future generations. The exhibition honours the strong cultural connections the canoe has to the lands and waters. It explores the long history of canoe culture here on the coast of British Columbia, and shares its importance for mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
The exhibit ran until June 30, 2022 at the Vancouver Maritime Museum and is now closed.
